Chris Ratcliffe is a graphic designer and fine artist who teaches on the BA (Hons) Illustration and Visual Media and MA Illustration and Visual Media courses at London College of Communication.
Chris is a founding member of Garudio Studiage – a collective that produces a range of witty, fun products inspired by the things they love – from animals to maps and their homeland of Peckham, London. As well as creating products, the collective has worked with clients such as the V&A, Southwark Council and the Southbank Centre to create interactive events, exhibitions and permanent artworks.
On top of this, Chris works across a range of disciplines including graphic design, fashion promotion, publishing and advertising for clients including Paul Smith, Red Bull, Jamie Oliver and Penguin. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, including a two-person show at the ICA in London.
Chris, a graduate of Camberwell College of Arts and the University of Brighton, has taught extensively from Foundation to MA level at prestigious institutions including Central Saint Martins and Camberwell College of Arts.
