Crona Connolly has worked as a project leader for community engagement and consultation specialist Soundings since 2012.
Connolly has extensive experience in the management of community engagement projects including:
- The day to day running of the social enterprise ‘Industri[us]’ in partnership with architectural practice Fluid
- Delivery of pre and post application consultation activities for private developers
- Strategic planning for local councils
Connolly has prepared and facilitated public workshops, youth engagement programs, meanwhile strategies, exhibitions and pop-up events, as well as undertaken extensive local area and stakeholder research. She always places end users at the heart of what she designs.
Connolly studied visual communication, narrative environments and art and design education. She often draws upon these in the generation of creative and innovative tools to engage people, young and old.
Prior to undertaking her MA in Narrative Environments Connolly was a curator and artistic director of a commercial gallery in Dublin, Ireland for eight years.
