Arran Gregory graduated from Chelsea's BA Graphic Design Communication course in 2009, and has since worked as a freelance illustrator for clients such as Coca-Cola and Swarovski.
Why did you choose Chelsea's BA Graphic Design Communication?
I was based at Chelsea for my Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and felt really comfortable there. Then a friend of mine recommended the Graphic Design Communication course to me, and I was impressed by the interesting, professional work they were creating.
Your most memorable moment at Chelsea?
Unveiling my 7 foot tall mirror bear at my end of degree show in 2009. Although, driving down the M25 to deliver this sculpture was a pretty close second.
What was your first job after graduating?
I was lucky enough to land a contract designing skateboard decks for Coca-Cola.
And what are you currently working on?
A mirror sculpture of a wolf for a client in Los Angeles.
Do you have any tips for Chelsea students?
Keep developing your personal work alongside course briefs and make the most of the college's library, something I wish I'd done more of.
