I am part of the studio teaching team on the MA Architecture: Cities and Innovation. I am a partner of award winning London architectural and urban practice 5th Studio and have taught architecture for over ten years at the University of Cambridge. My design research has developed an approach to strategic thinking that explores the dynamic between architecture and the scale of infrastructure and landscape. The relationship between teaching, research and practice has encouraged design innovation and a fresh attitude towards conservation and regeneration projects. I have written, exhibited and lectured widely on these issues, and on the work of 5th Studio – most recently at the London School of Economics ‘Cities’ program, London Metropolitan University and University College Dublin.
