Biography

I am Stage 3 Leader for BA (Hons) Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins.
I have a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design (2000), a post-graduate diploma in Teaching & Learning in Art and Design (2016) from CLTAD and I am working towards an MA in Academic Practice (2018). I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and have taught on the BA Graphic Design course since 2003, working with students across all stages of the course.
My teaching focuses on experiential forms of information and interaction design and I co-coordinate 'Neue', a sequence of experimental workshops that explore new and emerging areas within design.
My subject of research is digitally-engaged practices and processes of making within creative disciplines and more specifically whether the use of digital tools and spaces influence collaborative and co-creative approaches in graphic design.
My industry experience spans a broad spectrum of design fields working with both print and digital media for a number of London based design studios. As a freelance designer I have worked with a number clients within the charity sector including medical, human-rights and legal aid.
