Biography
I am a graphic designer and design researcher with a focus on exhibition design. I practiced as a designer for more than ten years and, while leading the graphic design team of the exhibition design consultancy Land Design Studio, I worked on projects for clients such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum London, Miraikan Tokyo and English Heritage. Building on this, my PhD explored the multiple roles of graphic design in museums and exhibitions, specifically its contributions towards the exhibition content and its narration in and through the gallery space. My current interests lie with representations of history/histories and the possibilities of a visual reflexivity in museum making.
