For the past three years, as a member of the Tate Research team ‘Art School Educated’ , I have been conducting my doctoral research on the development of discursive pedagogies and practices and on the growing importance of the moment of public exhibition within British art schools since the 1960s. My other main research interest relates to an attempt to look at the history of twentieth-century art as the process of integration of display practice into artists’ work.

Beforehand, after graduating from the MA Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, I organised exhibitions for a number of public venues as an independent curator and worked as artist liaison and associate director of exhibitions at the Lisson Gallery.
