I am the founder of AIR at Central Saint Martins and part of the studio teaching team on the MA Architecture: Cities and Innovation. My practice as an artist, producer and teacher concentrates on temporary and participatory interventions within the everyday and I am particularly concerned with the small scale, the local and the unannounced. I was previously Head of Special Projects at the Hackney Building Exploratory and have taught architecture at University of Westminster, Oxford Brookes University and the Bartlett.
AIR is a live projects studio working with artists from within and beyond Central Saint Martins through commissioning, research and experiential learning in the neighbourhoods around the college. AIR tests an expanded site-specific art practice responding to social, economic and political, built and lived qualities of place.
