I am an academic and creative practitioner, with research interests that include 'Pedagogies for social diversity and difference in Art & Design', and the role diversity plays in enhancing the possibilities for innovation within a creative context both in higher education and industry. This work includes 'Any Room At The Inn' (2009), a scoping study of qualitative research investigating Black Minority Ethnic graduates and their transitions into creative employment.

I additionally direct a programme called Shades of Noir, this programme is being implemented across the University of The Arts London, whilst also contributing to the development and delivery of the Centre for Learning & Teaching Art & Design (CLTAD) teaching qualification unit of Inclusive Practice' part of the Academic Practice Provision. Recently I have been nominated and elected by my peers as Joint Chair to GEMS (Group for the Equality of Minority Staff) and as an Academic Board Member.
