The future of the high street
Clear Channel worked with students from BA Product Design at Central Saint Martins to design inclusive and intuitive items of street furniture that looked to improve citizens’ experience of the high street.
Students came up with a variety of new product ideas for use in public spaces, which ranged from new seating that supported the elderly to rain resistant shelters that could be easily applied to existing bus stops.
Students created presentations that explained their ideas, as well as providing technical drawings and supporting research which highlighted to Clear Channel why they decided upon these ideas and how they could possibly be brought to life.
