Shepherd Manyika and I.Nakhla

31 March – 18 April 2025

For their Camberwell Space residency, Manyika and I.Nakhla will explore the connections between sound, space, and place through listening, gathering, and sharing. Over 3 weeks, they will engage with their surroundings, noticing how sound shapes experiences and memories. Through sound walks, discussion, and creative responses, they will reflect on movement, transitions, and communal spaces.

Peckham Square will be a focus, offering opportunities to listen, record, and interpret their experiences. The project will culminate in a shared moment—an exhibition or small gathering—where they will bring together their findings. Emphasising collaboration and reflection, Manyika and I.Nakhla aim to explore how spaces and places hold meaning through sound and presence.
