UAL’s Korean Alumni Association staged the first UAL Talent Market in Seoul this April, exclusively selling products and artwork created by UAL alumni.
Central Saint Martins alumna, Yu-Ju Lee, kindly allowed UAL to take over her beautiful store, Uglee Basement, for the day to give alumni the opportunity to sell and promote their work in the heart of city.
Alumni from across Korea were encouraged to submit a proposal to sell their work at UAL Spring Talent Market, with a wide variety selected for the day. Customers were able to buy clothing, accessories, ceramics, prints and homeware among many other beautifully created products.
This amazing opportunity not only enabled our graduates to sell and promote their work to the general public but also created a chance for everyone to meet potential new clients, network with other creatives and make new friends.

Our committee of alumni volunteers who run UAL’s Korean Alumni Association are dedicated to showcasing the talents of our Korean based graduates and in helping the community build networks, develop relationships, find opportunities to collaborate and grow in confidence.
Many events and activities, like the Spring Talent Market take place throughout the year. Find out more about the Association via our website and follow them on Facebook to find out how you can get involved.
