UAL Korean Alumni Association celebrates 2017 in swinging style

Throughout 2017 our Korean Alumni Committee have continued to work  to support fellow graduates with opportunities for them to sell and showcase their work, find jobs, network and make new friends. To end the year in style the Committee organised a party at the British Embassy in Seoul.

THE GREAT UAL PARTY welcomed all UAL alumni to come dressed in their finest 1920’s outfits and take part in an exclusive swing dance masterclass led by two international award winning teachers.

Not only did guests learn some impressive new dance moves, but they also had the opportunity to win some special prizes supplied by kind sponsors during a live auction, AND find out how they can take part in future exhibitions.

The UAL Korean Alumni Committee are looking for alumni artists and designers for a series of exhibitions taking place this year. These exhibitions aim to help alumni socialise and network as well as promote their work to the general public. They are interested in a wide range of disciplines including; fine art, graphic design, sculpture, product design, fashion, craft, ceramics, jewellery, film, and performance. The first exhibition is due to take place in around May in Yesultong with the theme being “Carnaby Street”.

For the complete information, follow the official UAL Korean Alumni Association Facebook page and join their Facebook Group. If you are living in Korea, also make sure you keep the UAL Alumni Association up-to-date with your contact details so you can be sent any future announcements directly.
