UAL’s Korean Alumni Association Committee bought together all their creative contacts and experience to organise an evening designed to bring all our Seoul based alumni together for some fun and offer them the opportunity to sell their beautiful products.
Karmers Café was the ideal venue for the evening offering the group enough space to hold a market selling a variety of different products including fashion, ceramics, leather goods and photography.
The evening was also the perfect opportunity for the group to announce their plans to stage an alumni group exhibition in 2018 and start gathering interest. To help finance the exhibition there was an exclusive UAL t-shirt for sale with all proceeds going towards plans, as well as a live auction thanks to donations of goods from across our alumni community.
The audience was honoured to be entertained during the evening by musician Chamin over Gin & Tonics to remind everyone of their time in the UK.
UAL Korean Alumni Association President, Doii Lee, welcomed everyone with a speech, along with Korean pop artist Nancy Lang and British Airways representative Manuel Alvarez.
UAL and the Korean Alumni Committee would like to thank British Airways, British Council and the British Embassy for all their support.
