LCF alumni win at the ITS Awards

LCF alumni were among the winners at the twelfth ITS (International Talent Support) Awards hosted in Trieste on the 12th and 13th of July.

ITS is a prestigious contest covering the fields of fashion, accessories and jewellery, and rewards the best in young fashion design talent. Split into fashion, accessories and jewellery, entrants put their work before a  jury of fashion figures which included Diesel Art Director, Nicola Formichetti, Isabelle Zegrini of Christian Dior Haute Couture Accessories, and Sara Maino from Vogue Italia.

LCF alumni winners this year :

Lili ColleyBA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery, was awarded the Swarovski Talent Award for Jewellery. The prize includes  €10,000  plus a 6 month internship.

Young Won Kim who completed a Masters in Fashion Artefact, won the Vogue’s Talent Award which includes publication of the entire collection with an interview in Vogue.it in the Vogue Talents section.

Accessories Collection of the Year went to MA Fashion Footwear graduate, Leonard Kahcke. The prize includes €5,000, return at ITS 2014 in the jury & presentation of new collection and showcase at Modamont September 2013 with feature in website and catalogue.

Finally, Alumna Cat Potter who also studied MA Fashion Footwear, won the Eyes on Talents award which includes €3,000 and a featured profile communication to all Eyes On Talents member brands.

The event was yet another celebration of young creative talent, with LCF graduates being acknowledged for their innovative work. This is the fifth year in a row that LCF students have won at the ITS awards.
