BA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery 2012 graduate, Helene Torp-Holte received a prestigious Nåløyet award recently. The Norwegian awards ceremony, which is hosted as part of Oslo Fashion Week, is now in its tenth year and recognises Norway’s most cutting-edge design talent.
Helene was selected as Best Accessories Designer for her Swords & Daggers collection, which draws inspiration from themes outside the realms of jewellery – often of a more masculine aesthetic. Her designs were chosen for their unique mix of ancient traditions with modern influences and the judges named Helene as a great talent, with international potential.
