DATA JAM! Exploring creative uses of open data
Saturday 17 May 9.30am-6pm, Open Data Institute, Shoreditch

This workshop is an exciting opportunity to get your hands on some data and discover the potential it can have for your practice. Service Design pioneer Chris Downs and artist Julie Freeman will guide participants through what open data is, where you can find it, and why we should think about using it for creative practice. You will work in teams to come up with commercially viable services using open data that will shape future cities and enhance the lives of their residents. You do not need any prior experience working in service design or open data to attend the workshop – just come with an open mind and a spirit of collaboration!

Refreshments will be provided!
