There is a tension about generating work at art school while keeping sustainability in mind. That’s why we have introduced The Reuse Exchange, a new resource area within the CCW Progression Centre at Wilson Road, Camberwell. Foundation Diploma students can drop off old projects and excess materials and in exchange take away something else for a new project. Anything dropped off should be broken down, sorted and placed in appropriate storage bays, ready to be reused by others.

The Reuse Exchange will actively engage students in working responsibly and sustainably with their materials. The project encourages students to understand the materials they are working with; what they are, where they come from and how they can be used.

We hope to have a wide range of interesting materials in stock that will constantly be changing as students add to and take from the store.

more information about the project can be found on the blog
