Acknowledging that the sector has typically been littered with a mix of luck and a ‘right time/ right place’ mind-set – Maisie has teamed up with film producer, Dom Santry to launch the app daisie – a creative platform designed to foster collaboration with artists and provide an alternative route into the creative sector.

Users are able to showcase their work and then search, like, share and collaborate with inspiring and like-minded creatives within a social networking setting. It turns talent discovery on its head – inspiring users to talent spot themselves and hunt down fellow collaborators establishing a new way for creatives to be discovered and employed.

The daisie app can work as an extension of UAL’s Portfolio – a platform for students to showcase their work and connect by networking with UAL peers from across all subject disciplines to share creative expertise.

Maisie has said:

I am so excited to be coming to UAL, the home of countless artists, creatives and rule-breakers. The talent here is world-class and it will be an amazing opportunity to collaborate and grow our global creative community.
