As a world-renowned provider of specialist Short Courses, we understand that life can be busy.
That’s why all of our short courses are taught either over the weekend or through the week so that they fit easily around demanding lifestyles.
At Wimbledon College of Arts we teach a range of focused courses that utilize the college’s specialist facilities. However our sister colleges Chelsea College of Arts and Camberwell College of Arts we run complimentary courses to these that might also cater for your interests – please visit all three college web sections for the full listings.
Unless stated, all our courses are for those aged 18 years and over but we do have a specialist range of courses for budding young creatives!

Wimbledon College of Arts, Chelsea College of Arts and Camberwell College of Arts are three of the six Colleges that make up the prestigious University of the Arts, London.
As well as delivering high quality Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes, our Colleges have been delivering Short Courses for over 25 years.
We are known globally for teaching short courses that are suitable for people of any age, ability and availability; our flexible approach to teaching means that people can study with us at a time that suits them. We are also able to deliver courses at three world renowned Colleges across London making full use of specialist, established facilities and catering to students located in different parts of London. Small class sizes, coupled with second to none facilities and excellent, supportive tuition means that year-on-year, we welcome more and more students into our short course alumni.
We are also proud to offer Portfolio courses for those considering a rewarding education in the Arts as well courses for the younger creative’s among us. Please see our Portfolio courses at Chelsea and Camberwell for expertly tailored courses for those aged 11 and over.

When & How to Book
When to Book:
Due to the popularity of our short courses, we strongly advise you to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. We advise that you book at least one month before the commencement date of your preferred short course.
How to Book:
The easiest way to book is online via our website - it is 100% safe and secure. However, should you run into technical difficulties or would prefer to book over the phone, via post or by coming into our office then please see further details below:
Please select the course and date that you would like to study and click the 'Add to Basket' button.
You will then be asked to either create a new account or log-in if you have an existing account with us. Once you are logged in you can add the course you have selected to your shopping basket and either continue shopping or pay for the course using the secure online booking system. Once your booking is complete you will receive a notification of your booking, Joining Instructions and a payment receipt via email. Please print your Joining Instructions and bring them on the first day of your course.
When you choose to book another course at a later day you can simply log back into your account and book the course that you choose.

If you would like to come and talk to us before making a booking, or simply prefer to pay in person by credit or debit card, you can visit the Short Course Office 9am - 6pm (GMT) Monday to Thursday and 9am - 5pm on a Friday. For accommodation options throughout the year you can visit the Accommodation for short course students page for information about homestays, house shares and hotels available during term time.
Now you can choose from UAL halls, homestays, house shares and hotels at our Summer Accommodation page. Short Course students (over the age of 18) are entitled to a discount of £2 per night on published rates in UAL halls. Please enter the discount code CCW when you book your accommodation online.
Course Fee Discounts
From time to time we are happy to offer discounts on some of our Short Courses.
In order to be made aware of these, please join our Short Course Mailing List.
At all other times, we are happy to offer the discounts mentioned in the list below.
Please note that proof of eligibility for discounts must be shown before booking, and discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Only one discount can be used per booking, and discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Early Booking Discount
Book 90 days or more before the start date of a course to receive 12% discount on your booking. This discount will apply automatically at time of check out. Should you wish to transfer or cancel your place, the difference may be payable.*
University of the Arts London Students and Alumni
Full time students and alumni from any of the six colleges within University of the Arts London are welcome to a 10% discount on our Short Courses here at Chelsea, Camberwell and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts.*
To claim this discount please complete a booking form and email/post it to us with a copy of your ID card, or you can pop in to see us with your ID card and make your booking in person.
If you are a registered Job Seeker we would like to offer you a 10% discount on you Short Course booking.*
To claim this discount please complete a Short Course Booking Form and email/post it to us with a copy of some official documentation stating your JSA status, or you can pop in to see us with your paperwork and make your booking in person.
If you are booking with a discount code, please note that these do not apply to all of our Short Courses. Courses excluded from these offers are: UAL International Summer School, Summer Study Abroad and Preparation for Foundation, BA and MA courses. Discount codes must be used at the time of booking and cannot be applied retrospectively. Only one discount can be used per booking and discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

How to get to Wimbledon:
— By Train: Wimbledon mainline station is served by overland trains from Waterloo, London Bridge and Croydon. The college is approximately 15 minutes walk.
— By Bus: From Wimbledon mainline station catch 163 or 164 towards Morden and alight at Nelson Hospital on Kingston Road.— By Tube: Wimbledon Station (District Line), South Wimbledon (Northern Line)
— By Tram: Direct from Croydon to Wimbledon mainline station. Dundonald Road is the nearest stop to the College.
— Parking: Meter parking is available in the roads around Merton Hall Road and Palmerston Road.
