BA Fine Art: Sculpture
Find out more about BA Sculpture at Wimbledon
Housing association, Hill Homes, approached Wimbledon College of Arts to design two sculpture installations for their architecturally award-winning complex in Highgate, London.
The organisation chose and commissioned two concepts. Oliver Places’s sculpture ‘Settlement’ is now permanently located in the complex’s garden, while Naya Eleftheriou-Passaris’s ‘Dreaming of Blue Skies’ can be found in the internal atrium.
“Working with Wimbledon staff and students was stimulating, and the collaboration produced two sculptures which give much pleasure to the residents.”
- Joe Scullion, Chief Executive, Hill Homes
Both artists received cash prizes for their work and were praised across the housing association for adding to the overall environment of the site.
