Accommodation for Study Abroad Students
Accommodation is guaranteed at a hall of residence (dorms or apartment) if you apply for a place by our deadline. University of the Arts London provides high quality self-catering accommodation in halls of residence across the capital. Almost all rooms have their own shower and toilet and share a kitchen. Our students tell us they feel very safe at the University, and your safety is our top priority. As a result, all our halls of residence have:
- closed-circuit television (CCTV) inside and outside the building;
- secure entry, for example by fob or card;
- staff available and contactable 24 hours a day.
We hold allocations of rooms for Study Abroad students at two of our newest halls:
In addition, London College of Fashion contracts privately rented apartments specifically for LCF Study Abroad students.
UAL makes special arrangements for Study Abroad students and, where possible, you are allowed to take on a shorter than normal tenancy agreement at a halls of residence. If you do receive an offer of halls of residence accommodation you will be asked to sign a tenancy agreement, which is a binding legal contract for the period of your stay.

For information about private renting, please see the private accommodation section of our website.

Study Abroad students can claim a 50% discount on a short course during their Study Abroad experience.
These specialist courses are usually run in the evenings, at weekends or during holiday periods. They are designed for all levels of learning and are a great opportunity to hone a new skill or develop a particular interest.
Students will learn how they can receive their discount once they have been accepted onto a Study Abroad programme.
