Pay Fees by Instalment

It is now possible to pay course tuition fees in instalments for all postgraduate courses (including graduate diplomas) that last longer than 30 weeks.

You can set up a payment plan through the online fee payment gateway, which will automatically debit funds from your bank account or card, as below.

You will be sent an email confirming the payment plan and a receipt for the payment you have made. You are required to bring this to your enrolment event.

Note that:

  • The first tuition fee instalment must be paid before a student can enrol onto their course. If a student has made a successful application for the Postgraduate Loan, they would receive their first instalment of Postgraduate Loan only after enrolling onto their course. Therefore, it is recommended that students make provisions for this. If you have questions about paying tuition fees using a Postgraduate Loan, please contact the Fees Manager at your UAL College.
  • If you are an international student the terms of your visa will apply, and you should ensure that you have met the financial conditions of your visa. UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) require students to prove that they have the funds to pay the full tuition fees for the year and have held the funds for at least the previous 28 days at the point they apply for the visa.
  • Remaining up to date with payments and clear of debts to the University is a necessary part of your enrolment. If you are a new student starting in the autumn and withdraw from your course after three weeks from the date of your enrolment you will remain liable for the full fee.
