Getting to/from Royal Hospital School

Students can arrange for an airport transfer when they book their course or they can arrange their own travel. Please write on your booking form if you would like an airport transfer.

We provide a meet and greet service for Young Creatives students. This means that if the student books a transfer, they are met at arrivals with sign with their name on it. The students are then placed into their transfer vehicles. Upon departure, the students are checked in and seen into the departures area.

You can also take a train from Central London (Liverpool Street Station) to Ipswich.

Local taxi company Suffolk Executive Travel can be contacted directly on +44 (0) 792 537 7841. All of their drivers are fully CRB checked and can be booked in advance. The average cost for a single journey from the train station to RHS is £20.

Disability and accessibility

We welcome students with disabilities, please let us know when you book your course if you have a disability or any problems with accessibility.

Students stay in boarding houses on the Royal Hospital School campus, these have shared rooms for up to four students of the same gender. The boarding houses also have recently refurbished common rooms where students can socialise or study in their free time.
