University of the Arts London (UAL) will be in Venice on Tuesday 23 May and Wednesday 24 May 2017. If you're interested in art, design, fashion, media, communication or performing arts, come along to meet us in person and find out more about Europe's largest specialist art and design university.

Undergraduate Study Information Session

Postgraduate Study Seminar

If you’re ready to apply for an MA course, come along to this interactive session to find out more about becoming part of Europe’s largest postgraduate arts and design community. You’ll learn about the postgraduate application process at UAL, hear from our academics, have the opportunity to discuss your portfolio and to ask any questions you may have.

The session

Present your study proposal and showcase your work during a group portfolio review session, and benefit from the advice and guidance of our academics. Make sure you bring a selection of your work and a study proposal with you on the day.

Before you attend

To help you get the most out of your session, we’d like you to download and complete our Preparation Form to bring along with you. Don’t worry if you can’t answer everything at this stage, this form just helps us to understand more about your creative interests as a starting point for further discussions.

Drinks reception – 5.30pm

Following the seminar, join us for a drink and some light refreshments, meet UAL staff and find out more about studying at UAL.

The Contemporary Documentary Photographic Image

Led by Max Houghton, Course Leader for MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication, this workshop provides an opportunity to learn how aspiring photojournalists and documentary photographers explore, record and tell the story of human experience and significant events and moments in history.
