At University of the Arts London we recognise that you may wish to be involved in your son or daughter's Higher Education experience. We are dedicated to supporting the progression and success of our students and have put together this section so that you're aware of the range of support available to your child.

Does the University offer immigration or financial advice?
Our Student Advisers have a particular focus on assisting students who might require financial or immigration advice. This means that these staff will often contact other departments within the Colleges and University on behalf of students. read more

Who should my son or daughter speak to if they have any problems or concerns?
If at any point your son or daughter is faced with personal or academic difficulties they are invited to contact the Dean of Students Office as a first point of call for advice. read more

Does the University offer careers advice?
The University's Careers Service, supports students and graduates through an extensive variety of services. read more

Is Counselling available?
Students may talk to a Counsellor about anything which is concerning them, whether it is affecting their studies or not. read more

What disability and dyslexia support is available?
We aim to provide equal opportunities for all our students and we encourage applications from disabled people. We are committed to breaking down barriers to learning, and aim to respond positively to the needs of disabled students. There are Dyslexia Co-ordinators based in each of our six Colleges. read more

Should my son or daughter register with a doctor?
It is very important that students register with a local doctor (GP) once they arrive at University so that if they become ill they will be able to see a doctor without delay. read more

Are there prayer rooms at the University?
There's a number of prayer rooms located in the different colleges which can be used by students of all faiths. Read more

Where should my son or daughter go to make a complaint?
Firstly, they should contact the Advice team at the Students Union. Read more

What is the Students' Union?
SUARTS is the student representative body for the 20,000 students spread across all six colleges of the University of the Arts London. Read more
