Groups and Workshops

The Health and Wellbeing departments hold a number of workshops each academic year.

Our workshops look at issues such as self confidence, self esteem, depression and anxiety. Their aim is to help you to understand yourself and to learn coping techniques for navigating through difficult times you may experience, to help you get the most out of your time at UAL.

These are the workshops taking place this term: 

 

At Ease with Presentations

Date:   Tuesday 21st February

Time:   2-5pm

Location:   272 High Holborn, room 2.03 (second floor)

Maximise your chances of doing a good presentation.  This workshop covers how to prepare, how to deal with nerves both before and during the presentation.

It is a fun afternoon where attendees will be able to learn from each other and give each other confidence in their ability to present.

 
 

No Worries- Overcoming Self Defeating Thoughts

Date:   Tuesday 28th February

Time:   2-4pm

Location:   272 High Holborn, Student Union Meeting Room (first floor)

Understand how anxiety operates and learn how to manage it and to make it work for you.
