Deaf students and students with a hearing loss

If you are deaf or have a hearing loss, the City Literary Institute (City Lit) or other deaf support organisations can provide you with support to help you with your studies. You may be able to get support services such as communicators, note-takers or lip-speakers. If you think you may need support on your course please contact the disability team or the disability representative at your college.

The University of the Arts now have an improved system for communicating by telephone for deaf or hard of hearing students. Textphone users can simply dial 18001 in front of any University of the Arts number, you will then be connected to an operator who will facilitate the call, communicating with you by textphone and with the University staff verbally.
