Rosie Findlay is a London-based writer and researcher specialising in fashion media and the intersection between performance, dress and the embodied self. She has a BA (Hons) from the University of Sydney and she completed her PhD in the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Sydney in 2014.

She is a Lecturer in the Cultural and Historical Studies department and the Dissertation Coordinator for the School of Media and Communication at the London College of Fashion.

Research interests

Fashion media, new media, fashion blogs, fashion photography, fashion shows, embodiment and dress, phenomenology, material culture, and the work of Pierre Bourdieu, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and Walter Benjamin.
