In order to aid research and effective management we are undertaking an extensive programme of cataloguing. The Tom Eckersley Collection and the Thorold Dickinson Collection are fully catalogued. The Stanley Kubrick Archive is our largest collection, running to over 800 linear metres and it is being currently catalogued. All cataloguing is being done according to archival standards and the catalogues will be made as widely available as possible, details of where to find catalogues will appear here. Currently collection level catalogue entries are being posted on the Archives Hub and the full catalogue for the Tom Eckersley Collection is available on our Mailing list and links page.

Inspired by Kubrick - The Elective

Inspired by Kubrick is a research-led elective in which students from the University of the Arts London are given the opportunity to explore, be inspired by and respond to the Archive of one of the greatest filmmakers and directors of our time. Throughout the elective the students work in small inter-disciplinary groups researching and developing a response to the Stanley Kubrick Archive. They present the outcome of their group-work in the final session of the course.

Throughout the course guest speakers discuss their experience of working with Kubrick, and/or working with the Archive. Tutors also work with the students and their groups to help them to develop their research and project development skills and likewise to guide them in the preparation of their final assessed presentation.
