General

Some visitors may qualify for reference or loan access to Information Services libraries through co-operative access schemes of which the University of the Arts London is a member. For more information on access for external users click here.Information Services: Library Alumni members
Students who have completed a course of a year or more, or staff who have been employed for a period of one academic year or longer, at a constituent college of University of the Arts London can have reference access to all of its libraries. Please register with the Alumni Association of University of the Arts London at www.arts.ac.uk/alumni on 020 7514 8505 or email alumni@arts.ac.uk. You must supply the library with a registration form with your personal registration number which should be completed and returned to the library of your former college. Please see our Guide for alumni (opens in pdf) for full details.
Services: Reference access to all University of the Arts London libraries. No access to networked databases or other IT facilities.
Access Arrangements: Once registered please phone the appropriate library 24 hours in advance for an appointment.
Copyright information
Use of photocopiers, scanners, slides and videotapes in the Library must be in accordance with the 1988 Copyright and Patent Act, and any subsequent Copyright Acts. You must not make photocopies for a commercial purpose without prior permission from the copyright owner or payment of a copyright fee. Copyright Fee Paid Stickers are available in the Libraries at £9.00 per copy, this allows you to lawfully copy an extract from a book or periodical for commercial purposes which is within the CLA portfolio. Visitors and Alumni are not able to use University of the Arts London computer facilities or networked resources, including databases.
