Graham Goldwater is a Photography Technician at London College of Communication. He has experience of all types of studio and location shoots and over the years been involved in three recognised research projects within the University, as well as conducting many of his own low level ‘under the radar’ rigid investigations.

Please tell us about the approaches, techniques and tools you use in your work:
The photo area takes a more holistic approach to helping students with their projects and outcomes. As we do not actually teach photography as such, we are there to facilitate student’s wishes and this could take the form of any amount of outcomes, film, digital, darkroom, studio, location, experimental, video.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Being challenged by students to create new or unexpected outcomes for their work.

You have access to some of the worlds finest museums, exhibitions, happenings and culture.
What piece of advice would you give to new or current students?
Use all of the technical areas as much as you can because when you leave you will never have such a great opportunity again!
