Enrico Di Paola is current a student on the MA Television course at London College of Communication. Here, we catch up with him to find out about why he chose LCC, his future plans and his favourite project on the course so far.

Where are you from in the world?

I’m from Rome, Italy

Why did you choose to study this course and why LCC?

I chose MA Television mainly because of the practical focus of the course. Additionally, I was also aware of the prestige and high standards of LCC, including both the quality of the courses and the future employment prospects after studying here.

What was your first impression of LCC when you joined?

Definitely a very international place, ideal for meeting different cultures while improving professional skills.

And what’s your favourite thing about LCC now?

Except from my course, the international atmosphere.

What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on through your course so far?

A TV programme we realised about Snowdonia National Park in Wales. We were there 5 days in order to shoot the footage and conduct our interviews. It was a really great experience, both professionally and personally.

What piece of advice would you give to students thinking of studying this course?

Be ready to do things you wouldn't expect to be able to do at the moment. If you apply yourself properly, your skills will be enormously increased even after just a couple of terms.

What three words would you use to best describe LCC?

International, professional, stimulating.

How have you found living in London, and where’s your favourite place to explore?

I'm absolutely loving living in a city such as London. My favourite place is the South Bank.

And what are you hoping to achieve after you graduate?

To have the right skills for make myself a comfortable space within the industry.
