What did you study at LCC and what year did you graduate?

MA Photography, 2013

Where are you from in the world?

Reading, UK

What are your fondest memories of LCC?

Talking about photography all day long.

What are you working on/where are you working at the moment?

I’m now working at a commercial art gallery in central London that sells contemporary glass art – a bit different to photography, but I love it!

Name three things you couldn't be creative without:

Discomfort, Niggles, Vision

If you could photograph anybody in the world who would it be? (Or maybe you already have?)

I’m not sure there is anyone… I’m wary of meeting my heroes. On the other hand, I’d love to take a great image of someone unknown if it went some way to achieving something positive in the world.

Tell us about your future plans and ambitions:

Trying to find time to work on a new personal project.

What drives you to succeed?

Umm, best to ask me that once I have succeeded, whatever that will be.

What piece of advice would you give to new students?

Use the college to the maximum. Speak to every technician, tutor, and librarian. Become best friends with them all. You’re only there for a couple of years, and you don’t want to leave with any regrets.

Where in London do you go when you need a little inspiration?

I get inspired by what my girlfriend calls 'desolate urban landscapes', so I’d probably head to the outer fringes of the city. Or I’d wander around Hackney Wick.
