Biography

Caroline Furneaux is an Associate Lecturer for BA (Hons) Public Relations at London College of Communication, where she teaches photography.

Caroline is a London-based photographer. She graduated with an MA in Photography from London College of Communication in 2007 and a BA in English Literature from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1995.

She has worked as a freelance commercial photographer for fifteen years, specialising in publicity stills for media clients including YouTube, Spotify, Mumsnet, Marie Claire, BAFTA, National Film Board of Canada (NFB), Fox Searchlight (He Named Me Malala), Edinburgh International TV Festival, Pulse Films, Film4 and XFM.

Her personal practice takes the form of documentary and found photography, often combined with words and audio. Current projects include 'The Mothers I Might Have Had', (Deptford X 2017, Salon 16, Photofusion) and 'The Posh Club', a documentary project in collaboration with performance collective Duckie.
