Antonio Marques-Mendes is a public relations and corporate communication expert, and a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Public Relations course at London College of Communication.
Antonio has been working in public relations and corporate communication for the last 25 years – devising strategies, conducting research, and managing projects and communication campaigns for companies and institutions internationally.
Antonio is active in research (qualitative and quantitative), strategic advice, strategic reputation management, crisis management, issues management and strategic communications management. His areas of expertise and research interests include crisis communication and crisis management, corporate reputation and corporate social responsibility.
Antonio has authored several scientific papers, working papers, conference papers, monographs and book chapters. He is also an editor of the book ‘Crisis: from threats to opportunities’, published by Sílabo Editora.
Besides his professional experience, Antonio has been a Professor of Public Relations and Strategic Communications at several universities at master and bachelor level since 1992. He joined LCC in September 2014 and works as a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Public Relations course.
Antonio is also currently completing a PhD at Lisbon School of Economics and Management [ISEG] University of Lisbon in Corporate Social Responsibility.
