Paula is a broadcast designer and a Pathway Leader on the Level Three: International Preparation for Design, Media and Screen course at London College of Communication.
Paula graduated from London College Printing. Her first job was working on the very first Quantel Paintbox at the BBC News and current affairs (working on Newsnight and Panorama). Paula lived in NYC from 1986 - 1989 where she worked as a designer in an advertising agency and on the side contributed to the Face Magazine, writing stories around the first wave of Rap.
She returned to London to continue working in television graphic design, working on branding and title sequences for a variety of TV stations and production companies. Paula was Head of Graphics at GMTV from 1994 to 1996. She has lectured in a variety of London art colleges at both FE and HE level.
