In August of 2014 we had the honour of hosting high school students from the Osaka Global School Programme funded by the Japanese Prefectural Government.

The British Council arranged for the students to visit London College of Communication to experience university life in another culture, to introduce them to the idea of Study Abroad and to enhance the English learning experience.

The 44 students from Osaka Global School Programme got a taste of life at one of the most innovative universities in the world with talks and workshops at University of the Arts campuses Chelsea and LCC.

The group was hosted in Russell Square, a vibrant neighbourhood in central London very near the University of London and the British Museum.  All meals were fully catered and everyone was given Oyster Cards for transit on London public transportation. The group spent their free time discovering the sights of London.

The feedback on this programme was excellent,

“Thank you so much for having us at UAL. The students and staff all had an amazing time with you.” Naoko

“They were very exciting lectures and workshops.” Tomoaki
