Creativity and imagination is required as you work as a team to create and film a live 15 minute TV programme. Comedy show, mockumentary, or news report, you write the script and decide what you want to film.
Your ‘go live’ time is the deadline you will be given when your show must be ready to air. A live TV programme can’t overrun or underrun by more than 5 seconds, the pressure is on. Can you resist the urge to panic?
The interactive day will begin with an overview of the workings of a TV studio and introduction to the technical staff who will support you during the day. Roles will be allocated and you will get to work writing the script.
The rehearsal stage will reveal any flaws or weaknesses in your script and allow an opportunity for team feedback.
From production team through to TV presenter, total commitment and excellent communication is required from every team member to ensure the success of your show.
Working in a TV studio is an exciting experience and team building activitiy which will provide any team with the opportunity to learn new skills.
You will be given a copy of your TV programme to take away as a memory of your day.
