This is your chance to create your own brand and design merchandise for it. This course will be a fun introduction to design and textile printing. You will have the opportunity to design a logo and print a series of unique t-shirts and tote bags that relate to the branding and concept.

Please note this course is suitable for you if you are applying for further study at London College of Communication, but does not guarantee entry.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Understand logo designing
  • Expand a brand conceptually

  • Be confident in printing on t-shirts and tote bags

Who Should Attend
This course is suitable for you if you are interested in design, textiles and print. The t-shirts and tote bag designs will be designed and cut by hand, so, no prior computer skills are needed. 

Level
Beginner: You do not need any previous experience. 

Follow Up Courses

Tutor information

Ella McCartney completed a Fine Art MA at the Royal Academy of Art and a first class degree in History of Art and Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Ella has exhibited her work Nationally and Internationally.

She has recently delivered learning experiences at the University of Cambridge Museums, Design Museum, Tate Modern, Saatchi Gallery and University of the Arts London. She works as a lecturer in the UK and Europe. 



Materials

Students will need to bring in note sketch books and pencils or pens.
