Alongside the teaching he runs his own practice called ‘Graphicacy’ whose remit is to not only make a client's information extremely clear and coherent but to make it look good too. He has run his own business for the last ten years and freelanced for over ten years before that. The last two years have seen him employing students directly from the courses on which he teaches. His clients tend to be charities, small businesses and small publishers - he is unashamedly a foot soldier of graphic design.
