This interactive, engaging course will give you the grounding you need, to begin writing for film and TV. It will take you through the process of developing ideas and the basics of screenwriting: character, plot, setting, theme, subtext, action, dialogue. This course will include a series of writing exercises and critiques. By the end of the course you will have written either a short film, an episode of a TV programme or the first ten pages of a feature film. Alongside dialogue writing, you will learn the fundamentals of synopses and treatments for screenwriting.
