This practical course will help you make your film work into a powerful showreel or film portfolio. A strong showreel or film portfolio is essential for your university or job applications. It should be a concise representation of your abilities so far as a filmmaker or artist. With expert tuition and access to industry-standard facilities we will show you how to refine and strengthen your work and make sure showreel gives you the best chance to succeed. It is practical course, which will enable you to develop your existing film portfolio or showreel through selection and editing. A key part of the course is presenting your work for peer criticism throughout the development of your portfolio.
It is suitable for you, if you are applying for BA or MA study at LCC, but does not guarantee entry.

Who Should Attend
This course is suitable for you, if you have a body of film work you wish to develop and edit into a showreel or portfolio for work or education. You should have some knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
Intermediate: You should have some previous editing experience, although this will be covered in depth. At LCC we use Adobe Premiere Pro, if you own a different software you wish to use please feel free to bring this on your laptop.
