Description

Animation and illustration are dynamic disciples at the forefront of the UK's creative industries. This course is for you, if you want to build and refine an effective portfolio to apply for further study in animation and illustration. You will receive guidance in putting together roughs, ideas and visual analysis and experimentations. You will cover ways that communicate your work that are not solely focused finished pieces, by presenting your visual thoughts, research, analysis and evidence of your interests.

Based in LCC’s considerable expertise it will focus on building understanding of current practice and theory, and how you can apply these to your work.  You will be taught through exercises, lectures, workshops, demonstrations and individual guidance. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a visit to give you a context for contemporary animation and illustration practices.
