Nike – graphic design for clothing

London College of Communication design graduates created a t-shirt collection for Nike as part of a project for the London Olympics that captured the intensity, passion and spirit of an athlete’s Journey to Greatness.

The team of hand-picked designers were led by artist and mentor Dave White and worked under the guidance of Professor Lawrence Zeegen, former Dean of the School of Design at LCC.

Through a series of meetings with athletes including Dai Greene and Paula Radcliffe, the designers developed an understanding of their challenges and inspirations, which they channelled into four unique t-shirt designs which were sold in Nike Town during the 2012 Olympics.
