A hospitality company – innovative executive thinking

When a leading hospitality company wanted to develop their innovation and design thinking skills they turned to London College of Communication students to inspire creativity.

During a one-day workshop BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design students collaborated with senior leaders from the multinational business to solve specific corporate challenges and explore opportunities.

The students brought a different perspective to the projects – using design thinking, rapid prototyping and visualisation to help the business leaders think creatively.

With students at LCC happy to challenge convention and take risks that most business leaders wouldn't attempt, the company were able to use the creative thinking workshop to improve these attributes in their own leadership. 

Utilising the training they receive at LCC, the student designers could view what the business leaders were looking at but see it from a different perspective – inspiring creativity and innovative thinking.
