Organisations can reach huge audiences through social media, but need a carefully prepared strategy to do it well, with a tone of voice and style that is authentic.

Social media strategy is a skill students across LCC gain, with particular specialism in BA (Hons) Public Relations, BA (Hons) Advertising and MA Advertising.

Brandon 2 TRA

Brandon 2 TRA organised a second Big Lunch event to bring local residents together, encourage interaction and a sense of community but needed help with promotion. Postgraduate Diploma Design for Visual Communication graduate Sarah Jane Hammoudeh worked on a social media marketing strategy.


Change Please

Change Please empowers homeless people with the skills and equipment to become fully-fledged baristas. Change Please is growing rapidly but did not have a social media voice or strategy. Sarah Jane Hammoudeh developed a social media plan, with a distinct tone of voice.

Mint Street Music Festival

Mint Street Music Festival is a free community music festival running for the third year in 2016. Sarah Jane Hammoudeh and Jordan Bridgeman-Simon worked on a social media and promotion campaign, aimed at attracting more people from local estates to the festival.
