Printmaking

London College of Communication’s Printmaking workshop is open to all students and is broad in range – the technical staff offer expertise in everything from etching to lithography.

You'll have access to workshops including:

  • Etching: hard grounds, soft grounds, aquatint
  • Lino cut and wood cut
  • Mono printing
  • Stone, Zinc plate and photo lithography
  • Solar plate printing and dry point printing
  • Collagraph
  • Embossing
  • Digital image preparation

Screen Printing

Within the Screen Printing area, you'll be offered expertise in hard surface screen printing and textile printing, with a focus on the use of acrylic water-based inks for paper and powder-based specialist dyes for textile printing.

Please note: Resources may require inductions before allowing access and are prioritised for certain courses.
