University of the Arts London brings together six of the world's most prestigious Colleges for art, design and communications.

University of the Arts London's head office is located at 272 High Holborn, WC1V 7EY, with over 20 other sites across Greater London. The University provides Further and Higher Education to more than 18,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition the University's commercial arm, London Artscom, offers short courses and certificates in a variety of subjects.

The University attracts students from over 100 countries and our
Language Centre, international centre and Student Services (Careers, Health Advice & Disability and Advice & Guidance) provide vital support to international students.

Within the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) we achieved a 5 rating and have continued enhancing our research profile by undertaking projects such as

  • Creative Research into Sound Art and Performance
  • Design Against Crime
  • International Centre Fine Art Research
  • Photography and the Archive Research Centre
  • Sensory Computer Interface Research & Innovation for the Arts
  • The University Archives and Special Collections Centre including the Stanley Kubrick Archives

The University benefits from strong links with practitioners working in related professions - employing over 2000 such practitioners as part time hourly paid Associate Lecturers.

We are committed to the continuing development of all of our staff and have dedicated sections within Human Resources (Development & Training and Health & Safety), the Centre for Learning and Teaching in Art and Design, and IT.
