After You Graduate

Jobs and careers for international students

Studying at Universty of the Arts London (UAL) as an international student opens up a host of opportunities for work in the global cultural and creative industries.

Industry links

UAL has an excellent international reputation, which helps our students to stand out from other graduates around the world. We work hard to build strong links with top global organisations and names in art and design to help you find rewarding work after your degree.

Industry-informed courses

Our links with companies in the creative industries keep our courses up-to-date and focussed on current industry trends, so you graduate with the skills you need to succeed in your profession. You will also benefit from the ‘professional development programmes’ built into our courses, as well as work placements, internships and awards. You will also have opportunities to exhibit and showcase your work to potential employers and clients.

Help with finding work

Our Student Enterprise and Employability Service (SEE) supports our students and recent graduates with finding work in the creative industries. SEE offers a range of services that can help international students, such as:

  • workshops;
  • presentations by industry professionals;
  • funding;
  • networking opportunities;
  • web resources;

Each year SEE also runs 'Artsmart' and 'Enterprise Week'. These are two milestone events that can open up employment opportunities and improve your job prospects after you graduate.
